Junk removal FAQ

Quick, clear answers about our services, pricing, pickup process, recycling practices, and service areas, so you can book with confidence. Anything else? Our team is always happy to help.

How is junk removal priced?
Pricing is based on the volume your items take up in our truck, nothing else. Rates start at $175 for a quarter truck load and the first half hour of labour is always included. You get a no-obligation estimate before we start loading, and the price we quote is the price you pay. See the full breakdown on our rates page.
Do you offer same-day service?
Yes. We offer same-day site visits and estimates across Metro Vancouver, and same-day removals upon request. Call 604 872 7448 in the morning and your junk can usually be gone by the evening.
What items can you take?
Almost anything: furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, construction and renovation debris, yard waste, dirt, soil, rock, and full estate or hoarding clean-outs. We accept appointments for almost anything, and if we can't take something, we'll find someone who can.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Our crews are fully licensed and insured, and covered by WCB. For specialized work like asbestos abatement, our certified technicians work under strict WorkSafeBC regulations.
What happens to my junk after pickup?
We sort everything we collect. Usable items are donated to local charities and shelters, recyclables go to local facilities, and only true waste heads to disposal. We've been honestly green since day one. On request, we provide a detailed recycling report breaking down what was donated, recycled, and tossed.
Which areas do you serve?
All of Metro Vancouver: Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond, Surrey, New Westminster, Port Moody, Delta, and White Rock, with other cities available by request. Our bin pull-out service also covers Greater Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.
Do you work with stratas and property managers?
Yes, it's one of our specialties. We provide bin push-and-pull services with live reporting on every pull-out and push-in, bin cleaning subscriptions, snow removal contracts, and commercial clean-outs. Easy account setup and invoicing available.
How do bin cleaning subscriptions work?
Choose weekly, monthly, or quarterly cleaning. We use eco-friendly, high-pressure hot water to sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize your garbage and recycling bins, removing the smells that attract rodents, raccoons, and pests. Contact us for current bin cleaning rates.
Can you remove bed bug-infested furniture?
Yes. Infested mattresses, beds, sofas, and other furniture are removed with contained, careful handling so the infestation doesn't spread through your building or neighbourhood, then disposed of responsibly.
Do you handle snow removal?
Yes, for strata, commercial, residential, and public spaces across the Lower Mainland. We offer sidewalk clearing and plowing, salting with pet-friendly de-icer, 24/7 emergency response during storms, and seasonal contracts.
What is your mission?
We help people sustainably remove, recycle, and repurpose unwanted material. Our vision is simple: communities without garbage.
What makes your approach different?
Our approach to junk removal is quite different from our competition. We have principles and a culture that have been in place since day one. We're not a franchise and there's no call centre, so you always speak with a real person who can actually help.
Do you guarantee your service?
Yes, we do. With over 20 years of experience in Metro Vancouver and a BBB A+ rating, we stand behind every job: satisfaction is guaranteed, or we will make it right.
